GORTON PEOPLE STRONGER TOGETHER is a pioneering community organisation working exclusively for the benefit of the people who live, work and go to school in GORTON.
Gorton Community Centre is the place we'll call home for the next 12 months sharing with the wonderful team who already run the Centre. Based on Highmead Street just off Chapman Street our doors will be open to anybody wanting to come and learn new things, find out what's going on or just wanting to pop in and say hello!
We'll be working hard over the coming months and setting up links that we hope will stay in place for years to come. With a brand new parents forum, youth forums, community festivals, and loads of school based projects coming up, please keep your eyes peeled for the GPST team but most importantly . . .

You can also contribute to this website - make it your own - the project needs people to write posts for our BLOG, and we've got an EVENTS page that will list everything that's going on in the community (so tell us about what you're doing!). There's also the website FORUM where you can discuss whatever's on your mind to do with Gorton, and talk about the project itself.
